Class Discussion 9-25-18

In my opinion they should have changed the time zones to being the same everywhere. I believe this because if every place on the earth had the same time then when leaders of other countries wanted to meet, they don't have to see where to meet and determine what time it is there before they can meet. They can just determine a place and a time quickly. Another reason is with national television, such as sporting events, the TV can just determine a general time to play games and televise them to the whole country. My final reason is when the first map was created, why would you not just keep time the same across the whole world and make it easier on everyone else. It would especially help during traveling because if you flying to California from Maryland why should you have to look at what time it is there because their time is different. In conclusion, I think that the whole world should revolve around the same time.
