Making Maps 9-27-18

Today in class we finished creating our world maps. I believe that this is important for kids to learn about the U.S. map because us as kids need to know how our world is and where everything is. I think this because if we do not know about our map and we want to travel somewhere and we do not know where places are and what country they are in then they will most likely get lost. In my opinion I liked the activity that we did in class with the maps. I like it because I learned where the International Date Line is located. Also, I learned where the Tropic of Capricorn and Cancer were located. Lastly, I learned where my country of origin is located at, and that was Germany. I never knew where Germany was located but after searching it up I found out. In conclusion, I liked the activity that we did because it taught me a lot about the world.
